I have been building recording quality custom guitars for New York's professional players for the past decade. My current commissions include Archtops for jazz lion Mark Whitfield and collectors worldwide.
My Archtops give you a broad pleasing voice at full acoustic volume and my detail work gives you a neck that's exceptionally easy to play. The design and construction of my instruments are strongly influenced by the great guitars of the past, which I examined at length when I restored many of New York's working D'Aquistos and D'Angelicos, including Jim Hall's.
The experience of building over 300 guitars for recording musicians, as well as restoring fine instruments has given me tremendous control over the building process, making my Archtops a real alternative to a collectable D'Aquisto or D'Angelico.

Perfect guitars and delighted customers are my passion. All Archtops are available in 16", 17", and 18" widths and with the following details.
I build each Archtop to be the Ferrari of Archtop guitars. When you play a Marchione Archtop, you'll find that playability, acoustic sound, and beauty are my focus. I use the highest grade AAAAA Engelmann Spruce top, highly figured maple back and sides, and African Ebony fingerboard in addition to all wood binding and mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays to make a majestic statement.
I guarantee materials and workmanship for the life of the instrument to the original owner.
